These works are from the series Quiet/Loud which was exhibited in its entirety at ArtProv Gallery November 2017 - January 2018. The show was reviewed in Art New England. Quiet/Loud addresses themes of mediating a complex identity while endeavoring to emerge whole from the muddled soup of being human. Presenting self-portraits beneath encaustic medium quiets the sound of life and surrenders to its insistence.
